About the English Premier League
Chelsea stormed to the 2016 - 17 Premier League title and changed the face of English football. Switching to a back three, Antonio Conte proved that the tactic not only works, but also results in exciting football.
With Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger living and breathing attacking football, more sides are adopting the same formation, the thrills and spills which have been the hallmark of the Premier League since Eric Cantona leapt feet first into the Selhurst Park crowd.
Arsenal showed the way forward in winning the FA Cup and stopping another Chelsea League and Cup double. Others will surely follow suit and give the world’s most exciting league another season to remember.

David Beckham scored a spectacular goal against Wimbledon in 1996 from the halfway line. The audacity, the technique, the talent and the bravery was an awesome spectacle to behold. That was surpassed when 5000/1 outsiders Leicester City lifted the Premier League trophy, crowned champions for the first time in their history in 2015/16. Claudio Ranieri built a side around mercurial winger Riyad Mahrez and the goals of Jamie Vardy to lead the Foxes to glory.
